- The group unofficially takes up residence as the "house band" at a local joint.
- Jimmy's stance when playing closely resembles that of John Lennon's.
- When the Wonders are on the Hollywood Showcase, when they show each individual member in a closeup, they put their names on the TV. When Jimmy is shown, they have the caption, "Careful girls, he's engaged". They did the same for the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and when John was shown, they had the caption "Sorry girls, he's married".
- The bassist from the group leaves.
